Horizon Software

Graduated from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, the University of Tokyo. Researched vacuum decay around black holes at the Graduate School of Science; appointed a JSPS Research Fellow in 2021 and received a Ph.D. in Science in 2025. Founded Horizon Software in November 2021 while in the doctoral program. Runs market making in cryptocurrency markets with the firm's own capital and participates in exchange market maker programs, and has extended into equity markets and prediction markets using weather models. Develops the trading system in-house end to end, from pricing models to order execution infrastructure.

Graduated from the Department of Information Science, Faculty of Science, the University of Tokyo, and completed a master's degree in Computer Science at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. Currently a doctoral student in the same graduate school, researching automatic optimizing compilers for GPUs. After his master's, he worked on embedded systems, AI, and GPU-accelerated computing in industry. Joined Horizon Software as CTO in 2024, where he works on low-level optimization of the trading system.
